Context

Blue Box is a multi-choice textual narrative mobile game offering multiple mini-games and endings. You were surfing on social media when you received a private message from a stranger, blackmailing you into helping him in his conspiracy-ridden misdeeds. Who is he ? Can you escape his influence ? Are you really going to help him ?

Gameplay

Blue Box takes form of a real-time messaging app. Create yourself an account, log in and chat with your friends. Be careful though, anyone can see you on Blue Box. You will have to choose how to communicate with the stranger via a multiple-choice chat system.

This stranger will ask you to help him in increasingly nefarious missions under the form of several mini-games. Do you have what it takes to pull this off ?

Install instructions

Since it's a mobile game, installing it can be tricky and very depending the type of smartphone you are using. The installation steps are usually as follows :

1  ○  Open this itchio page on your phone's browser (or download it on your computer and send the file on your phone)
2  ○  Download the installation file directly on your phone (since it's a .APK file, it will only work on your phone)
3  ○  Your phone should automatically recognize the file's format and ask you if you want to install it. If this is the case, do it. If it doesn't straight up ask you for the installation, find the file in your phone's download and execute it manually. NOTE : since it's a direct apk download, your phone may think it's a malware and might warn you. You might have to turn off some settings, or turn on the developer mode.

4  ○  At this point, the installation should be done automaticaly (in a relatively short time due to the game's size) and the game should be present in your list of apps or on your desktop.

5  ○  Open the game and play !
